It’s not good when a culture burns its buildings as a form of protest. That’s what’s been happening in Greece and the rest of the world should be paying attention.  Their politicians have long been selling the con that opportunity can thrive without responsibility.  Sure, just like you can grow a garden without sunshine.  Reality is not always timely, but it is dependable.  It’s arrived in Greece with a bang and their people don’t like it.  Fires, violence, and social disintegration are forms of protest similar to that of an infant deprived of a binky.  Except in this case there aren’t any binkys for Greece.  It’s simply a question of when their people stop setting fires and being angry over the lies they bought, and start getting to work rebuilding their culture and their future.  They’ve done it before and they can do it now.  Greece is the birthplace of Democracy.  Looking back will tell them how to best go forward.  Setting things on fire will not be a solution.
