Many conservatives are lazy.  All a political opportunist has to do is speak against abortion and taxes and for Veterans and they can hook most of us.  Voting records and lifestyle insincerity easily gets lost behind red, white, and blue camouflage.  Another problem with conservative laziness is how we allow liberals to define all the issues.  The right to kill 50 millions babies is called “choice” instead of genocide.  Freedom of religion has been translated into freedom from religion. Liberals have hooked our culture on “rights” as a replacement for responsibility.  Though governmental agencies persistently fail performance measures at all levels, the left has successfully sold big government as better than Constitutional government.  Founding father eloquence demonstrated the power of words.  Liberals get that and are successfully rewriting America’s script while conservatives weep and sleep.
