A good example of the left’s intellectual bankruptcy is the concept of hate speech.  The dictionary defines it as, “speech not protected by the First Amendment, because it is intended to foster hatred against individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, sexual preference, place of national origin, or other improper classification.”  That’s covering a lot of ground and creates obvious free speech conflicts.  What the left lacks in intellectual honesty, they make up for in activism.  Anytime a conservative dares to find his or her courage button and speak against downgrading our culture, the “hate speech” label is quickly applied.  When the left calls right minded people “stupid”, “teabaggers”, or “racists”, that’s OK and not hateful.  Sorry Mr. and Mrs. Liberal, you can’t have it both ways.  Hate speech is nothing more than what common sense folks call “being a jerk.” Using the term to silence dissent is a hateful thing to do…
