Hi, this is TheCandidConservative with today’s minute on another Obama success…

Everyone, except those operating in reality, seems excited about improving job statistics.  The drop below nine percent has been heralded as validation of Obama’s leadership.  Actually, that’s correct, he does deserve credit for what’s happening, but it’s got more to do with failure than success.  The percentage of people working in America is around 58, the lowest it’s been since we starting abandoning the family and putting mom to work.  That puts us on par with socialist Europe.  It also means a lot of people have given up.  The number of available jobs equals what we had in the year 2000 and the jobs we’re gaining pay less.  Curiously, under Obama we have more seniors working and fewer youth.  One in four teens work – the lowest number in history.  In a form of poetic justice, baby-boomers are being forced back to work to pay their bills. Jobs are our best social service.  Statistics are working hard to hide our failure to create new ones.
