Crony capitalism has set-up the world for a serious fall. These self-serving marauders have abused our economic and political systems to a point of no-return. We’re in a position not unlike that of an alcoholic who has killed his liver – recovery will be painful and a transplant is our only option. Political opportunists, like our current president, have embraced this window of opportunity to our fear for their power. Swapping crony capitalists for one of the least reliable things in the universe, crony politicians, is not a bargain.  Resting between these two ditches of despair is the road to reason.  It points to the pursuit of an honest free market system that rewards hard work, personal responsibility, and ethics versus entitlement thinking, accountability avoidance, and immorality.  From where we are getting back to the real American way will be a difficult journey.  Our pioneer forefathers showed us how we can do it and why it’s worth it.
