There was a time when healthcare centered on a mutually responsible relationship between patient and physician. Costs were low, access was good, and that relationship was healthy. Today, every time a patient meets with their physician there’s an insurance bureaucrat, attorney, regulator, and politician crowded into the exam room. This complexity has corrupted healthcare. Insurance entities like Medicare, BlueCross, and Medicaid are in control.  Government agencies make big promises, underfund their programs, and transfer costs to those with private insurance.  Those companies, in turn, dictate physician protocols and practices. Patients get service without accountability.  Attorneys and other system predators get their piece too.  Employers get the tab.  Healthcare recovery requires greed therapy and a return to relationship, responsibility and restraint.  ObamaCare will insure that doesn’t happen.
