Hi, this is TheCandidConservative with today’s minute on Obama reelection insurance…

We’re running out of time on Iran, and President Obama’s recent affirmation of Israel’s right to protect itself affirms imminent adventure.  Until now, Obama’s public position has centered on peace and appeasement.  He’s counted on sanctions to strangle Iran’s nuclear despots.  It’s not happened and can’t.  Oil and support from Russia assures Iran can defeat sanctions until they have the bomb.  Obama now gets it, and in fact his future may be tied to what happens next.  Israel now has U.S. license to attack.  They will – and in fact already have through espionage, computer viruses, and assignation of key Iranian players.  There’s more adventure to come, but Iran’s leaders have invited the pain.  Direct threats to Israel’s right to exist combined with the potential power to make sure they don’t has sealed Iran’s fate.  Obama’s change of heart on this adventure centers on sealing his reelection.
